| Nonprofits Unite to Amplify Community Impact at Recent Charity Coalition LuncheonLocal charities gathered at the historic Fort Harrison to collaborate, share resources, and strengthen partnerships for community betterment.
By: Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization "Pinellas County is home to more than 1,300 nonprofit organizations tackling a wide range of community challenges—from youth mentorship and environmental conservation to food security and low-income housing," said Lisa Mansell, Community Affairs Director for the Church of Scientology. "Despite their varied missions, collaboration is essential. A recent national study from Forvis Mazars LLP (U.S. public accounting firm) showed that nearly half of nonprofits face a shortage of resources, leading to hindered program delivery." Among the attendees was Ken Branch, former Service Officer for American Legion Post 7. Branch praised the event's role in fostering collaboration, "The Charity Coalition helps us build relationships that are crucial to expanding our impact in the community. Sharing ideas and resources with fellow nonprofits enables us to get more done, together." The next Charity Coalition Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, October 15th at 11:30am at the historic Fort Harrison.
