A Century of Compassion: Butte Humane Society Hosts 114th Anniversary Gilded Garden Gala

CHICO, Calif. - July 18, 2025 - PRLog -- Butte Humane Society, one of the oldest non-profit animal welfare organizations in Butte County, is excited to announce its 114th Anniversary Gala & Fundraiser. This elegant event is designed to bring together supporters, community leaders, and animal lovers to celebrate and advance the organization's life-saving mission.

The gala will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, starting at 5:00 p.m. in the Big Room at Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, California. Attendees can look forward to a black-tie optional evening featuring fine dining, captivating live entertainment, and both live and silent auctions. The theme, "The Gilded Garden," draws inspiration from moody botanical gardens and sophisticated evening conservatories, with dramatic floral displays and shimmering gold accents creating an enchanting atmosphere.

Funds raised from the event will directly support Butte Humane Society's efforts to provide shelter, medical care, and permanent homes for animals in need across Butte County. Since its founding in 1911, Butte Humane Society has evolved into a beacon of hope for animals, offering more than just shelter. The organization collaborates with open-admission shelters to reduce euthanasia rates and provides accessible veterinary care, spay and neuter services, a pet food pantry, and community education programs.
