![]() Cannabuzz Grand Reopening Puts Lexington Back on the Cannabis MapNew bar and beverage line reflect Lexington's hemp heritage and a growing appetite for social cannabis experiences
By: Cannabuzz Bar Located at 938 Manchester Street, Cannabuzz hosted the grand opening from 12 PM to 10 PM, offering attendees a first taste of its two newly released THC-infused beverages — Lemon Haze Tea and Pineapple Express Punch. Guests also enjoyed live piano by musician John Pope, who performed on a restored baby grand piano, a collaborative restoration project between Cannabuzz, Pope and artist Chris Huestis. "This event was not only important for launching the next stage of Cannabuzz but also for the city of Lexington," said Annie Rouse, Founder and CEO of Cannabuzz. "The introduction of the world's first Cannabuzzery provides Lexington another historical notch in their belt as a leader in the cannabis and hemp industry. Cannabuzz is excited to continue to make progress and provide the community access to safe and effective THC products." Attendees were among the first to explore the transformed space: what was once a fully enclosed warehouse is now a creative, comfortable lounge featuring three new bathrooms, a fully constructed bar, expanded windows and entryway, and a newly revealed 1950s patchwork wood ceiling. "Our grand reopening was a great new beginning for Cannabuzz and Kentucky," said River Lantz, Chef and Lead Buzztender. "It's awesome to see the community excited for our drinks and future prospects." The launch drew local media coverage, with Spectrum 1 News attending for a day-of interview and Omni Media capturing event photography. In the weeks leading up to the event, Cannabuzz was featured by WKYT, FOX, the Lexington Herald-Leader, and the Lane Report. Cannabuzz's new beverages — the tropical-inspired Pineapple Express Punch and the crisp, tea-based Lemon Haze Tea — are available for retail purchase at select liquor stores across Kentucky. New edible products are planned for release later this summer at available at Cannabuzz. The Cannabuzz team will continue community outreach at upcoming events, including Lexington Pride Festival on June 28, Reggae at the Gorge with Tahlsound, and 4th Friday at the Loudon House in July.
