In her nearly 20 years of members, she has taken on numerous leadership roles in the Watauga Sertoma Club (Texas), where her commitment to service and community has made a lasting impact. Prior to joining the Watauga club, she served as a charter member of the club in Leavenworth, Kan., helping lay the foundation for a new chapter of the organization. At the international level, Marks has an impressive record of service and leadership. She has held several key positions, including Heart of America Regional Director, District Governor, Communication Specialist, and Mission Specialist. Her contributions have been recognized with multiple honors, including Sertoma's prestigious GEM Award, the President's Service Award and Club Sertoman of the Year. Marks has spent her career as a speech language pathologist and administrator, working primarily in the non-profit early intervention sector. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Hearing Charities of America and has contributed her expertise to several other philanthropic organizations as both a volunteer and board member. "I am excited to continue serving Sertoma International as vice president," Marks said. "It is an honor and a privilege to support members and communities around the world. I look forward to furthering the mission of helping individuals with hearing health and communication needs."
