Cannabuzz Honors Lexington's Hemp Roots with Grand Reopening & Product Launch

LEXINGTON, Ky. - June 17, 2025 - PRLog -- Cannabuzz, the world's first micro-cannabuzzery and Kentucky's first Cannabis cocktail lounge, is proud to announce its grand reopening celebration on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 12 PM to 10 PM at its flagship location in the heart of Lexington's Distillery District (938 Manchester St, Lexington, KY 40508).

This all-day public celebration commemorates Lexington's 250th anniversary while honoring the region's long-forgotten legacy as a hemp capital. Once a central hub of Cannabis trade that helped power the U.S. Navy during WWII, Lexington now welcomes a new era of hemp innovation with Cannabuzz at the forefront.

Cannabuzz's reopening also marks the official launch of its new line of ready-to-drink THC-infused beverages: Lemon Haze Tea and Pineapple Express Punch. Crafted with Kentucky pride and culinary flair, these drinks are infused with strain-specific terpenes and made to appeal to both curious newcomers and seasoned consumers.

"During the crafting of our Cannabuzz beverages, we knew we wanted to redefine cannabis, replacing stigma with sophistication," said Rouse. "Both the Pineapple Express Punch and Lemon Haze Tea honor cannabis genetics and use their terpenes to drive effects and flavor—but with a culinary twist. We are extremely pleased by the outcome and know our customers will be as well."

The Cannabuzz experience combines the ambiance of a cocktail lounge with the innovation of a microbrewery—except instead of beer, guests enjoy Cannabis-infused mocktails, teas, and small bites. Favorites like the "Beets by Buzz" mocktail (featuring beets grown from Lexington's Big Beat Farm) will return alongside new seasonal creations.

Cannabuzz is a woman-owned, Kentucky Proud, community-rooted business. As part of the multi-phase development of its property, the team is restoring and reimagining Lexington's historic spaces to house this cannabis-forward concept. The company is also planning to feature rotating displays of archival hemp history within its lounge.

This event is free and open to the public. Beverages will be available for purchase by the drink or by the package. Cannabuzz will also be present at Lexington's Pride Festival on June 28.
