Follow on Google News | Garipoli Appointed Sertoma International TreasurerGaripoli brings a distinguished background in nonprofit leadership, law enforcement and community service to his new role. He is currently Vice President for the Developmental & Disability Services of Lebanon Valley, where he leads efforts in development, grant writing and donor acquisition. Previously, he was the Director of Development for the Lebanon Rescue Mission, overseeing all aspects of fundraising and resource management. Prior to his work in the nonprofit sector, Garipoli served 35 years in law enforcement, including as Chief of Police in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania (2001–2010) A long-standing member of Sertoma International, Garipoli has demonstrated a deep commitment to the organization. He served as president of the Lebanon Valley Sertoma Club for several years and was the 2022–2025 Allegheny/Canada Regional Director. He currently serves on the Sertoma International Policy Committee and acts as a Communications Specialist for his region. Garipoli holds degrees in political science, criminal justice administration and an MBA. He has also taught at Alvernia University, PennState's Justice & Safety Institute and multiple community colleges, while developing leadership courses and presenting for a range of professional organizations. His speaking engagements include the Pennsylvania Mayors' Association and John Maxwell Fortune 500 tour. Beyond his professional and volunteer commitments, Garipoli has been married to wife Irene for 47 years. He is Vice President of the Pennsylvania Karate Hall of Fame and former Chair of the Lancaster County Human Relations Commission.
