Follow on Google News | Optical Engines Launches Polarium: The Highest Average Power Ultrafast LaserWith up to 375W average power in a fully sealed, vibration-hardened package, Polarium reduces setup from weeks to minutes and enables ultrafast performance in previously inaccessible environments.
By: Optical Engines Inc Polarium combines OEI's proprietary CPTEC direct-pumped fiber amplifier technology with integrated seed lasers to deliver room-sized optical bench performance in a compact, sealed form factor. With no mirrors, crystals, or alignment steps, the platform achieves full stability in under one second and operates from –40°C to +70°C. The platform delivers up to 375W average power—significantly exceeding competitors like Light Conversion's CARBIDE (120W max), IPG's YLPF systems (200W max), and TRUMPF's TruMicro series (150W max). Pulse energies range from 500 nanojoules to 5 millijoules, with beam quality maintained at <1.2 M². "Customers go from crate to calibrated process in 45 minutes," said Scott Cannon, Director of Sales. "It's production-grade plug-and-play." Available in Femto, Pico, and Nano configurations for applications from cold ablation to high-throughput processing, Polarium will be showcased at LASER World of Photonics 2025, June 24–27 in Munich at Booth B3.421.
