Anthony Hornus previously directed the award winning 'Silent Night in Algona,' a WW2 home-front-drama about German prisoners awaiting the end to the war at one of 700+ camps in the Midwest. Based on true events, the film tells a powerful and uplifting story that happened during the chaos of WW2 on the run up to Christmas. Following a strong limited theatrical release, the movie released to DVD and streaming while also playing Uplift TV. Now on July 1st the film will start running on ad-based video on demand platforms such as Tubi, Roku, Xumo and Encourage TV. Prior to 'Silent Night in Algona' Anthony Hornus received much praise for 'Man's Best Friend,' a powerful story that centers on adoption dogs and our wounded military veterans. All were produced by Lansing, MI based Collective Development Inc (www.cdiproductions.com). The company has a long track record of capturing historic and positive-value films. This new film marks Anthony's return to the director chair.
