This star-studded event promises to deliver an unforgettable night of uplifting gospel music and cultural celebration. This special concert is proudly presented by the Nia Cultural Center, a community organization dedicated to preserving and promoting African American culture. The event will take place at the Grand Opera House, located in Galveston—the birthplace of Juneteenth, where the historic news of emancipation reached enslaved people in Texas on June 19, 1865.
