Follow on Google News | Hope Camp 2025 Offers Children Who Are Grieving a Safe Place to Find a Path Toward Hope & HealingBy: The Hope & Healing Place This year's camp, held July 8–11 from 9 AM to 12 PM, brings hope & healing to life through a movie-themed program: Hope Camp at the Movies. With stories like Finding Nemo, Frozen, The Lion King, and Up, campers will explore big feelings like sadness, bravery, and belonging in a safe, supportive environment. Through crafts, games, conversation, and connection, children are gently guided toward hope—and reminded they're not alone. "Sometimes the littlest hearts carry the heaviest grief," said Candice Kirkpatrick, Executive Director for The Hope & Healing Place. "Hope Camp offers a place to play, create, and begin to heal—where kids can feel seen, heard, and surrounded by others who understand." No prior connection to The Hope & Healing Place is needed—Hope Camp is open to any child who has experienced death, from Kindergarten to 6th grade. This camp provides a compassionate first step on the journey toward healing. Hope Camp 2025 Details: Location: The Hope & Healing Place – 1721 S.
