East Orange Entrepreneurs Get Empowered to Fund Their Dreams at June 4th Workshop

EAST ORANGE, N.J. - June 5, 2025 - PRLog -- On Wednesday evening, June 4th, East Orange entrepreneurs gathered at the Public Library for the eighth session of the city's Professional Development Workshop Series, titled "Funding Your Dreams in the Urban Hub."

Led by Pavel Manrique, Business Banker at JPMorgan Chase and proud son of East Orange, the workshop delivered practical insights into how small business owners can better prepare for financial growth and protection.

More than just a lecture, the session emphasized why financial fitness matters for business owners—and how it goes far beyond personal credit. Pavel explored the unique pressures and advantages business owners face, especially in urban communities where access to capital can be both a barrier and an opportunity.

He outlined three core pillars every business should build around:
