Dentist Releases Country Song about Psilocybin for Smilorexia Treatment

RED DEER, Alberta - May 25, 2025 - PRLog -- Outspoken dental whistleblower Michael Zuk DDS has found a new outlet to share his message of concern about excessive cosmetic procedures- country music. The retired dentist who coined the term Smilorexia for his book Confessions of a Former Cosmetic Dentist says body dysmorphia may be successfully treated with micro-dosing of magic mushrooms. The Alberta song writer has dabbled in writing songs for years and finds the use of Ai and online production websites the easiest way to bring his ideas to fruition. In a weekend in May he claims to have produced almost a whole album of songs which oddly often include a dental reference. The latest song brings up the idea that people can often be better off avoiding invasive cosmetic procedures and can consider professional micro-dosing therapy with magic mushrooms if they have body dysmorphia issues that make them easy victims.

Dr. Zuk says dental health topics are often overshadowed by medical scandals and get buried or are ignored by health regulators. He says his association with John Lennon through the purchase of the Beatle's tooth has opened doors and still is offering opportunities that otherwise would never have occurred. "Publicity stunts are a good way to draw attention to a cause and John Lennon and Yoko were perfect examples. I think he'd be pretty impressed his rotten molar keeps popping up," says Zuk.
