By: The HOPE Center Held for the first time in Toms River, the 2025 Golf Classic brought the event home to the HOPE Center's own Ocean County community. Attendees participated in a morning putting contest, lunch, a scramble-format shotgun start, and a post-round dinner with awards and prizes. Meals were generously provided by Bey Lea's in-house restaurant, Shogun Legacy. "For the fourth year in a row, we were blessed with gorgeous weather," said Amy VanBezooijen of The HOPE Center. "Bey Lea golf course was a wonderful host, and Shogun provided an amazing dinner for the golfers to enjoy." All proceeds benefitted the mission of the HOPE Center: to serve individuals and families in crisis with dignity and compassion, providing for their basic human needs and striving to empower each person to achieve his or her greatest level of self-sufficiency.
