POLYN Introducing New Voice Processing Capabilities

By: POLYN Technology

TAIPEI, Taiwan - May 19, 2025 - PRLog -- POLYN, a fabless semiconductor company supplying application-specific Neuromorphic Analog Signal Processing (NASP) technology and products, will debut its advanced NASP-based speaker recognition core at InnoVEX25, May 20-23.

NeuroVoice Speaker Recognition (SR) is a new addition to the NeuroVoice Neuromorphic Front End product family, designed for clear voice communication. It learns and memorizes individual voices to identify them in future interactions. Combined with NeuroVoice voice activity detection (VAD) and voice extraction (VE), it provides an excellent solution for voice-enabled Edge AI devices. Along with NeuroVoice Smart Voice Control (SVC) command detection, it paves the way for the next generation of voice-operated communication devices.

The NeuroVoice VAD+VE+SR+SVC Evaluation Kit, available for customers in various combinations, is designed to showcase multiple voice-processing product configurations for various applications and evaluate the performance of the NASP NeuroVoice neuro cores in different acoustic environments.

Key Features:
  • Always-on human voice activity detection
  • Ultra-low power keyword spotting
  • Ability to memorize and recognize users' voices
  • Authentication of known speakers
  • Speech intelligibility improvement for harsh environments
  • Multiple operational modes of the neural cores' combinations

"A smart microphone with NeuroVoice Speaker Recognition detects speech and authenticates a known speaker. It passes audio through only when both conditions are met," explained Eugene Zetserov, POLYN's Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. "The unique combination of NeuroVoice features opens a new level of voice-operated applications in battery-based devices that work effectively even in noisy environments."

NeuroVoice use cases range from a simple smart microphone to home control, two-way radios, hearing glasses, and many others. NeuroVoice uniquely combines multiple voice functions with ultra-low power consumption, opening unprecedented capabilities for new voice-controlled device designs.
