RevArt Presents New Exhibition: Collective We

RICHMOND, Calif. - May 13, 2025 - PRLog -- RevArt is proud to present Collective We, a powerful new exhibition exploring identity, belonging, and shared humanity through contemporary figurative painting and photography. On view at RevArt Richmond, which is located in CoBiz Richmond - a modern entrepreneurial hub in the city of Richmond focused on economic and community development—the exhibition features international artists Kateryna Bortsova and Aran, whose works center the human figure as a living archive of culture, memory, and emotional truth.

In a world shaped by migration, digital intimacy, and cultural convergence, Collective We offers a visual meditation on what connects us across boundaries and borders. Whether through Bortsova's dreamlike figures—partially obscured by florals and balloons—or Aran's intimate portraits of women from diverse global communities, each work invites viewers to consider the complexity of personal identity in a collective world.

"This show is about seeing ourselves in one another," says Patti Pan, RevArt's curator. "Through these two artists' distinct lenses, the human form becomes both mirror and messenger—reflecting back our shared vulnerabilities, strengths, and stories."

Featured Artists:

Kateryna Bortsova (Ukraine): Known for her surreal figurative paintings, Bortsova explores visibility, identity, and the aesthetics of concealment. Her work has been exhibited internationally and challenges the viewer to find meaning in what is revealed—and what is hidden.

Aran (Iran): A fine art photographer capturing women across cultures with raw grace and honesty. Her portraits elevate individual presence while forming a powerful global collective of femininity and resilience.
