Jil's remarkable journey began in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, where she was born and raised. Twenty years ago, she arrived in the United States with only a few hundred dollars and a dream. Today, she is a serial entrepreneur, founder of Excellence Therapy Solutions in Dallas, Texas, and a respected business coach and community leader. She served as Chair of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce DFW from 2021 to 2023.

Her professional excellence has earned her accolades such as the Outstanding Occupational Therapist Award from Sun Health Care (2009) and National Therapy Service (2019). She is certified in lymphedema therapy and has expanded her practice to include life and business coaching.

In addition to her clinical and coaching work, Jil co-founded JCJ Glam, a fashion brand later reimagined as Jil & Jug Couture with designer Jugger Onate. Their shows in Dallas, Houston, Grand Prairie, Beaumont, and London have used fashion as a platform for women's empowerment.

Lasaca is also known for her charitable work, including book donation drives in the Philippines, building libraries with the Tulong Foundation, and chairing fundraisers like Fashion Goes Global for the Roscon Foundation. Her dedication to community upliftment earned her the Humanitarian Award from Tulong Foundation in 2022 and the Philippine Face of Success Award in 2021.
