Follow on Google News | ![]() RHF's Marple Manor & Ralston Tower Celebrate Massive RenovationsRededication Ceremonies Celebrate the $14.9M Renovation of Marple Manor and the $21.7M Renovation of Ralston Tower.
Marple Manor, which has 145 spacious apartments, underwent significant improvements, including upgrades to unit interiors, infrastructure, landscaping, and lighting. Ralston Tower, which has 178 one-bedroom and studio apartments, made upgrades to its lobby, community room, TV and game rooms, and unit interiors. The average ages for residents at Marple Manor and Ralston Tower are 75 and 80, respectively. Residents in both communities pay 30% of their adjusted income in rent. "Our goal is to acquire existing affordable housing communities and renovate them to ensure they remain affordable for the elderly and persons with disabilities in the future," said RHF President and CEO, Stuart Hartman. Improving residents' quality of life is also a priority for RHF. During the rededication, longtime resident, Mae LeRoy spoke about her experience living at Marple Manor. "It's a great place to live on the income that we get," said LeRoy. "I love the people that work here, they're the best. I love just it here."
