SURPRISE, Ariz. - April 23, 2025 - PRLog -- Phoenix, AZ — After years of serving online as The Greater Guild Church, a bold rebrand is powering up. Meet Power Up Church—a fully immersive digital-first ministry for gamers, anime fans, and fandom-loving faith seekers.

Still 100% grounded in the message of Jesus, Power Up Church is doubling down on its mission: to energize and equip a generation of believers through the power of the Holy Spirit and the language of geek culture.

"This isn't just a new name—it's a mission upgrade," says Pastor Brandon Holm. "Power Up Church exists for those who've felt left out by traditional churches. If you're more comfortable in cosplay or on Twitch than in a pew, you're right where you belong."

Power Up Church connects with its growing community through two weekly livestreams beginning May 24th, 2025:

• The Power Grid (Fridays @ 2PM MST) – a live gaming session with faith-based conversation.
• Critical Faith (Sundays @ 1PM MST) – a sermon-gaming fusion experience with the tagline: Faith that hits harder than a final boss fight.

With the rebrand comes real-world expansion. Power Up Church is now in Stage Two of its church plant in Arizona, raising funds for its first physical HQ—a creative space designed as a teen center, gaming lounge, and cosplay-friendly gathering hub. To fuel this vision, the church launched Power Up Partners, a nationwide initiative inviting 10 million people to give $10/month to support missions like:
