The conference features keynotes, peer-reviewed research, creative showcases, and collaborative panels, fostering dialogue and community among academics, creators, and players from more than 20 different institution. The event is organized by Lindsay Grace, University of Miami author/editor of the book Black Game Studies and Stephen Jacobs, Rochester Institute of Technology, scholar in residence at the The Strong National Museum of Play and director of Open@RIT. The event is supported by sponsors including The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Empire State Development Fund, University of Miami School of Communication, and The Strong National Museum of Play. Partnerships with Play Story Press, the Digital Games Research Association, and the ACM Journal Games: Research and Practice will facilitate the dissemination of conference proceedings. Key Details:
