At the heart of the gathering is the long-anticipated release of CUG's new White Paper, "Are the Girls Well?"—a comprehensive report that surfaces the voices and experiences of urban girls while analyzing the social conditions that impact their everyday lives. The findings will inform the next phase of work: the creation of a Quality of Life Plan (QLP) that prioritizes girl-centered strategies and systems change. This event is more than a launch—it's a call to action for anyone who cares about the futures of Black and Brown girls in Chicago.
