NMC Healthcare to Divest Stake in Fakih IVF, Strengthening Focus on Multi Specialty Healthcare

ABU DHABI, UAE - March 31, 2025 - PRLog -- ​United Arab Emirates, February 7, 2025 – NMC Healthcare Group ("NMC"), a leading integrated private healthcare provider in the UAE, has entered into a legally binding agreement to sell its 65% stake in Fakih IVF Fertility Centre ("Fakih IVF") to Blue Ocean Health Group ("Blue Ocean"). The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to conclude within the next two months. Financial terms are not being disclosed. Upon completion, Blue Ocean will assume full ownership of Fakih IVF.

This move aligns with NMC's strategy to invest further in its core multi-specialty healthcare services, focusing on enhancing existing facilities and pursuing strategic growth in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Planned projects include the opening of four new medical facilities this year, such as a pediatric medical center in Dubai's densely populated Marina area and a multi-specialty medical center in Palm Jumeirah, slated for a summer launch. Proceeds from the Fakih IVF sale will support these initiatives.​
