BARRIE, Ontario - March 16, 2025 - PRLog -- The Kidney Patients Association Barrie and South Simcoe is pleased to announce our Founding Meeting. This milestone marks a significant step forward in our mission to support kidney patients and their families in the Barrie, Innisfil, Alliston and the south simcoe region.

The meeting will be held virtually on Jitsi, providing an accessible platform for all interested parties to join and contribute.

Date: Sunday, 6 April 2025

Time: 1:00 PM

We invite all patients, family members, healthcare professionals,, and community members to attend this important meeting. Your participation and contributions are vital to our efforts in enhancing the quality of life for kidney patients in our community.

Already the Association has issued two reports - The first titled "My Drugs Bring All the Doctors to the Clinic (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BGGETjOccgtPlb4qryp97yPa...)" released on Family Day and the second "Rules and Tips for Program-Specific Patient and Family Advisory Councils in Ontario (https://drive.google.com/file/d/17jQul8Ct4qMDqHX8WhKkeFNj...)" on World Kidney Day.

We are excited to collaborate with local healthcare providers, policymakers, and community organizations to ensure that kidney patients receive comprehensive care and support. However, to further our mission and incorporate as an official organization, we are seeking a sponsor who shares our vision and can help us with the necessary resources. Your support can help us establish a solid foundation to better serve kidney patients and their families.

About the Kidney Patients Association Barrie and South Simcoe: The Kidney Patients Association Barrie and South Simcoe is dedicated to providing support, education, and advocacy for kidney patients and their families. Our mission is to improve the lives of those affected by kidney disease through community engagement, advocacy, resources, and support services.
