By: Hana Associates Public Relations Barclay said, "I moved to Park Hill in 1983 and began compiling photos and video footage of the community through its many phases. With the release of "Wu: The story of the Wu-Tang Clan" (https://www.imdb.com/ Barclay premiered the first five episodes to a packed OURS Studios audience in Decatur, GA. on February 22nd, 2025. The series is arranged in chronological order beginning with his perspective of Park Hill. Lifestyle reenactments from the statements of both former and present-day residents enthralled the audience; a correlation could be made between the events in the series, and Wu-Tang's references to the community in their music. But overall, anyone apart of a similar social climate could relate one way or another to the series. Each episode presented unforeseen, compelling plots. Through the dejection of each scenario, a broader picture emerged about how trauma is processed in underserved communities. On February 26th, Killa Hill episodes were screened before the Wagner College sociology department. Among those in attendance were representatives from the Richmond County District Attorney's office, Legal Aid Society and Wagner educators to discuss the intersection of crime, anti-Black racism, immigration, and the sense of "home" following the screening. In November of 2024, an episode was previewed at the SVA Theater in NYC in conjunction with the "Wu-Tang Experience: Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre" Killa Hill then made its debut at the Three Chambers festival (https://www.instagram.com/ While the docuseries echoes painful events and grieves the loss of the voiceless, it manages to highlight the injustice of a system that failed a community. In examining what can't be undone in it's myriad forms, an understanding can be gained from this series, to better address the Killa Hills of world.
