Jimmy & Scots Folk Band: New EP "Beers and Reels" out on March 7, 2025

VERONA, Italy - March 8, 2025 - PRLog -- After recently reaching and surpassing 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, the band continues to grow and capture the hearts of folk and Celtic music lovers.

"Beers and Reels" contains five tracks, including three originals and two covers, one of which is the famous "Danny Boy", for which a version with classical guitar played by Bonnie (Annalisa Zito), the band's new member, was also created.

The track "Jump off the Plank", previously released as a single on February 7, is a burst of pure Celtic folk punk that pulls you into the chaos of a mutiny on the high seas. Dark and dramatic cellos create depth and tension, while a banjo speeds up the rhythm like the beat of a heart in revolt, intertwining with electric guitars and explosive percussion. With powerful choruses and overwhelming energy, the song tells the story of pirates tired of tyranny, ready to take their fate into their own hands. A rebellious anthem full of adrenaline.
The second single, "Beers and Reels", is an anthem to the joy of partying, sharing, and dancing to Irish music. The band's musical journey culminates with the release of the EP on March 7, 2025, which also features the famous ballad "Danny Boy". Additionally, on February 14, the single "The Drunk Scotsman" was released, a result of a special collaboration with the band Patricks.

These new releases represent an important step in the career of Jimmy & Scots Folk Band, which has played at numerous festivals and has built a growing fanbase. The band has become a true soundtrack for Irish music lovers, with a strong presence leading up to the upcoming St. Patrick's Day celebrations. In March, the band will be on a tour that will visit many cities in northern Italy and extend to Rome.

Both Jimmy & Scots Folk Band and Patricks are signed to Maxy Sound, a label that continues to support the talent and growth of these two leading bands in the Celtic folk music scene.

Don't miss the chance to listen to the "Beers and Reels" EP from March 7, 2025, and get ready to dance to the music of Jimmy & Scots Folk Band.
