Civil Rights Leader Declares 24 Hour DEI Tesla Boycott Smashing Success

Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President and noted political analyst Earl Ofari Hutchinson declared the call for a 24 Hour DEI Tesla Boycott a "smashing success."  Hutchinson called for the 24 hour Tesla sales stoppage on February 28-March 1. Hutchinson made the call in front of Tesla's Los Angeles headquarters.

"The aim was to send a strong message to Tesla boss Elon Musk that his relentless uncompromising assault on DEI programs and initiatives would be challenged at every turn. Tesla , his long time cash cow, was the obvious target for the protest," noted Hutchinson.

The boycott was designed to do the one and only thing only thing that Musk cares about--namely  dollars and cents. A further plunge in Tesla sales would impact his company bottom line

Tesla's sales, noted Hutchinson, had already been in steep decline in recent weeks before the 24 hour boycott call. "What was especially gratifying, he said, was that many people that considered a Tesla purchase before the boycott call contacted me through various social media outlets, Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, and X postings to express their outrage  at Musk's naked and relentless assault on DEI and vowed not not to consider a Tesla purchase."

"We will closely monitor Musk's utterances and practices on DEI and other racial issues following the 24 Hour Boycott," Hutchinson affirmed, " And  will continue to call for further actions against Tesla and Musk as a warning that he will pay a steep price to pay for his bigotry."
