Follow on Google News | ![]() Winners Announced for 2025 International Juried Exhibition at The Center for Contemporary ArtJuror Erin Woodbrey selected 50 pieces from the 906 entries received from 310 artists from across the United States and Canada, Amsterdam, Latvia, Northern Ireland, and Salmiya (Kuwait). The quality of the entries was very high, and made for a challenging task for the juror. Exhibiting Artists are: Paul Arbre (New York, NY), Susan Beiner (Phoenix, AZ), Elizabeth Caputo (Massapequa, NY), Muscle Memory Collective (Las Cruces, NM), Tracy DiTolla (Oakland, NJ), Ian Etter (Flower Mound, TX), Sandra Farina (Hackettstown, NJ), Suzan Globus (Fair Haven, NJ), Inguna Gremzde (Ogre, Latvia), Jennifer Hecker (Brockport, NY), Eric Henry (San Francisco, CA), Allison Hudson (Philadelphia, PA), Audrey Jakab (West Windsor, NJ), Katie Kehoe (Tallahassee, FL), Ling-lin Ku (Pittsburgh, PA), Judith Lieberman (Whitehouse Station, NJ), George Lorio (Rockville, MD), Patricia Malarcher (Englewood, NJ), Patrick McCoy (Belleville, NJ), Nupur Nishith (Edison, NJ), Daniel Pailes-Friedman (Brooklyn, NY), Bermuda Pierre (Linden, NJ), Wen Redmond (Stafford, NH), Nathan Rutkowski (Haddon Township, NJ), Robert Tomlinson (Catskill, NY), Josh Urso (Jersey City, NJ), Maria Villanueva (Denton, TX), Louise Wheeler (New Providence, NJ). Three artists were awarded cash prizes: First Prize: Ling-lin Ku (Pittsburgh, PA), Healing Second Prize: Bermuda Pierre (Linden, NJ), Table for One Third Prize: Jennifer Hecker (Brockport, NY), Hail, Hail In addition, Jennifer Hecker (Brockport, NY) and Wen Redmond (Stafford, NH) were awarded solo exhibitions at The Center for Contemporary Art. When speaking about her selection process Juror Erin Woodbrey wrote, "I approached the submissions, ready to uncover dialogues that appeared across the work. I first looked for broad themes that emerged across many pieces and then for more nuanced connections— Erin Woodbrey is a New England-based artist whose interdisciplinary work utilizes sculpture, printmaking, photography, and time-based media. Woodbrey received an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2014 and a BFA at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. Woodbrey has been represented in solo and two-person exhibitions, as well as group exhibitions, nationally and internationally.
