Follow on Google News | Children's Harbor is Celebrating Its 12th Annual Harbor Lights Gala with a "Fiesta" on March 8Hosted by Children's Harbor, this annual signature event promises to make guests feel as though they have been transported to the culturally rich roads of Spain, with live Flamenco performances, authentic decor, mechanical bull, and a Spanish marketplace that includes carving stations, textiles, fresh fruits and more. Adding to the evening's excitement is a silent auction with exclusive items, music, and dancing. Guests are encouraged, but not required, to arrive ready to fiesta in their favorite Spanish-inspired attire for an unforgettable celebration championing the nationally accredited nonprofit agency on a mission to strengthen families in our community. Established in 1996, Children's Harbor is dedicated to strengthening families while providing safe shelter and essential support to teens and their younger siblings in foster care. Their mission is to empower teens in their care to grow into healthy, educated, and productive adults. Offering a harbor of hope and healing, Children's Harbor focuses on supporting children who have experienced the trauma of child abuse at their main campus in Pembroke Pines. Funds raised during the 12th Annual Harbor Lights Gala will benefit Children's Harbor directly. "This night will be one to remember! I am so excited to see everyone come to support Children's Harbor," said Tiffani Dhooge, President and CEO of Children's Harbor. "We are dedicated to providing resources that promote healing, support, and hope for our teens and families. Thank you to our incredible community and Sponsors who help us achieve these goals. Join us on March 8, you won't want to miss it!" Marleen Applebaum, Children's Harbor Board Member and VP of Business Operations at MA Construction Group, serves as the chair for this event.
