It's a New Year!  There is no better way to get things popping than to get together with friends to celebrate the upcoming year!  "Bring It On! HyLife O-City Productions is excited to announce the return of the comedy showcase that has audiences rolling in the aisles! J-Red Comedy All-Stars II is bringing together some of the brightest and funniest talents in stand-up for an unforgettable night of laughter, storytelling, and high-energy performances at Yoshi's Oakland.

The J-Red Comedy All-Stars II is produced by none other than Michael Burdette, CEO of HyLife O-City Productions, who is dedicated to showcasing exceptional entertainment experiences. "HyLife O-City Productions was pleased to get folks out of their houses after COVID to enjoy entertainment for real in intimate showcase settings like Yoshi's and now we continue to remind people to get out and have some fun," said Burdette. "It's good for our mental health and we just want people to start the year with enthusiasm that comes from fun. Even the Bible says "laughter is good medicine."

"Planning fun is a healthy way to start the New Year.  Given the grave news around us,  being intentional about factoring in joy in our lives is a strategic way to ensure good mental health," said Bay Area -based Psychologist, Dr. Brenda Wade, television expert, resident psychologist for Good Morning America, The Today Show; and past host of the national program, "Can This Marriage Be Saved?".  "Studies have shown laughter is good for healthy mental health."  Author and speaker, Dr. Wade is the Creator of Modern Relationship Training and Mastermind Programs.

Dubbed the "King of Clean Comedy," J-Red's witty comedic stylings have made him a household name. He has shared the stage with legendary singers, actors, and entertainers and is the recurring MC for "L.A.'s Taste of Soul" hosted by McDonald's.
