Plant Construction Company expands Los Angeles presence with new office

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Nov. 12, 2024 - PRLog -- Plant Construction Company, L.P. (Plant), a California-based firm providing general contracting and construction management services from the Bay Area to Southern California and beyond since 1947, announced it has expanded its presence in Los Angeles (LA) to include an office in Beverly Hills at 9401 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 820. With a history of more than 20 years of construction projects located in the LA region, Plant is a key player in the area with many completed local projects, as well as being an engaged member of the community.

There is lot of opportunity for growth in this region and our experience with historic building reconstructions, hospitality, seismic renovations, high-end retail, and civil and infrastructure projects gives us a unique ability to help create spaces where people want to be."

With projects spanning from La Jolla to Beverly Hills, recent Plant projects include:

• The UCLA Wooden Center, a $35 million project where the firm is currently providing major seismic upgrades to a two-story building in the heart of campus that contains gymnasiums, courts, weight training, group fitness, staff offices, and meeting rooms. This project is designed and will be built to achieve LEED Gold certification.
• Tenant improvements for the Apple Store at Westfield Topanga Mall. This new store included large, glazed sliding doors, high-end quartz wall paneling, and terrazzo flooring. Through extensive coordination and timing of activities, Plant was ready by the planned store opening date and brought in the project under budget.
• Prada Los Angeles Beverly Hills included a full build-out of this three-story building to create a new boutique retail space and 10 years later, a full-scale store reconfiguration. The work included alteration of the main stairs, new finishes, and a new storefront.
