Wrights Plastics celebrates 'blooming' partnership with luxury garden pod brand

WEST BROMWICH, U.K. - Nov. 12, 2024 - PRLog -- rom their Warwickshire base, Ornate Garden has been at the forefront of the design and making of luxurious outdoor pods that have created unique and cool spaces not only in private gardens but hotels, restaurants, meeting spaces and many other locations.

When quality is paramount, finding trusted suppliers who share that belief is essential. Unfortunately, in 2024 a supplier of the acrylic panels used in the making of the pods folded – leaving the company with an unwanted search for a new supplier.

Following an initial enquiry fand some exploratory meetings Wrights Plastics were appointed as a new supplier. New tooling was developed and fairly quickly the first panels were in production.

Utilising Our Core Skills

The West Bromwich-based acrylic fabricator was able to utilise their core skills, developed over 50years, in the manufacture of the parts.

They laser cut plastic sheets and drill the required holes which are then countersunk. Window panels are then sent to the large format printer where a dot matrix print helps reduce the amount of UV penetration, ensuring the cool looking pods stay cool too.

All the panels – some over 1m high and wide – are then formed into shape in drape moulding ovens, overseen by our expert plastic fabrication teams. In around 6 months Wrights Plastics has supplied 1000s of panels with more orders in production.
