Follow on Google News | Oliver Maner to Hold Fourth Annual Donation Drive in Support of Parker's HouseDrive Held During November, National Homelessness Awareness Month
This donation drive takes place throughout National Homelessness Awareness Month in November. Oliver Maner challenges the Savannah legal community and the public at large to help spread awareness, increase donations, and collect essential items for the women at Parker's House. "It's easy to take for granted the basic necessities that many of us have," said Oliver Maner Associate, Amelia Stevens. "This donation drive is a tangible way to show our commitment to helping women in need and to empower them to rebuild their lives and regain their independence. We're honored to partner with the Savannah community to support Parker's House and make a real difference." A convenient Amazon registry has been set up by Union Mission and Oliver Maner, linked here: https://a.co/ Donations can also be brought to the Oliver Maner office, 218 W. State St., from Friday, Nov. 1 to Friday, Nov. 29 during regular business hours. Most needed items include: - Linens (pillows, sheets, bath towels) - Laundry supplies (detergent, dryer sheets) - Paper products (paper towels, toilet paper) - Cleaning supplies (Swiffer products, Lysol cleaners, disinfectant wipes) - Undergarments (bras, underwear, undershirts) Savannah-Chatham County has the second-highest rate of homelessness in Georgia.
