Baltimore Fashion Week Returns to its Original Stage, the Historic War Memorial Building

BALTIMORE - Nov. 2, 2024 - PRLog -- The Fashion Umbrella Foundation is thrilled to announce the return of Baltimore Fashion Week to the War Memorial Building, its original home, for the 18th annual production season, scheduled for August 11 - 16, 2025. This iconic event, which has established itself as a pillar in the creative landscape of Baltimore, returns to Memorial Hall to offer a grander, more immersive experience, fostering a sense of community, creativity, and impactful connections.

As a pivotal fundraising initiative for the Fashion Umbrella Foundation, Baltimore Fashion Week directly supports the organization's workforce development program, which is dedicated to preparing individuals for careers in the fashion and arts industries. By returning to the War Memorial Building, Baltimore Fashion Week not only reclaims its roots but also expands its platform to enhance this essential program. The spacious and historic Memorial Hall will allow for larger audiences, a dedicated press area to support the event's growing media interest, and space for post-show networking opportunities—a valuable resource for all attendees, from creatives to industry professionals.

This year's production will showcase a variety of design talent across multiple categories, highlighting the Foundation's commitment to fostering creativity across all levels. Designers are encouraged to register by March 31, 2025, to participate in one of the following categories:

• Emerging Designer – Middle and high school students eager to display their creativity
• Group Showcase – Collaborations and fashion collectives
• Individual Showcase – Established designers presenting solo collections
• The Shows at Baltimore Fashion Week – Exclusive invite only runway presentations
• Designer Debut at NYFW – Designers will have the opportunity to debut their collections during New York Fashion Week in September 2025, expanding their reach and exposure.

With each season, Baltimore Fashion Week continues to evolve and bring forth a platform for designers and creatives to elevate their craft and careers.
