What? Allatra? You're a sectarian, that's it!

WASHINGRON, Wash. - Oct. 21, 2024 - PRLog -- Don't just take anyone's word for it. Before you decide to take part in a genocide, make sure you understand both sides of the story.In October, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted an important resolution on "Propaganda and Freedom of Information in Europe", which received 117 votes in favour. This resolution calls for the fight against disinformation and hate speech in the media. In October, however, we are already seeing anti-cult organisations actively violating these principles and creating a hostile environment for peaceful movements.

An example of such pressure is the situation surrounding the international movement "ALLATRA". In May 2024, in Slovakia, the interrogation of anti-cultists began, followed by the opening of a criminal case against a journalist who spread disinformation about the movement. In October, mass defamatory articles were published in the media in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Croatia, unfoundedly labelling "ALLATRA" as a destructive sect and a dangerous cult. In Slovakia alone, 150 such articles appeared in just 10 days, and 50 more in the Czech Republic. This information campaign was clearly planned to discredit the movement and its members.

At a press conference held shortly after the publication of these articles, the MPs, violating the presumption of innocence and constitutional norms, baselessly and at their own discretion, called "ALLATRA" a tool of Russian hybrid warfare and a dangerous sect. They repeated these allegations throughout the whole conference.

This was followed by pressure on the prosecutor handling the case. Online comments were full of threats and accusations against the movement and its supporters.

This is the second stage of the genocide: creating a negative public opinion to destroy innocent people. As a result, the prosecutor, unable to withstand such pressure, closed the case on October 18th. However, the reputation of ALLATRA was severely damaged due to the defamatory articles that did their "dirty" work.

ALLATRA has no political or religious affiliations. The main mission is to bring truthful information to everyone about climate crisis, which is directly related to the protection of life and freedom of every human being. We, the participants of ALLATRA, are law-abiding and concerned about the real climate situation that threatens the whole of humanity.

However, instead of allowing us to speak the truth about the state of the planet, the real threats and possible solutions, anti-cult organisations are trying to silence us through slander and information terrorism, reminiscent of the actions of the Nazi regime.

The movement's members, including their families, have been affected by these attacks simply because they are trying to bring awareness to the climate crisis.
