Bazemore Receives 'Champion of Georgia's Cities' Award

ATLANTA - Oct. 4, 2024 - PRLog -- Rep. Debra Bazemore (D-South Fulton) received a 2024 "Champion of Georgia's Cities Award" from the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA). The award, which is given at the end of every two-year legislative term to state legislators who actively support major GMA initiatives and goals, was presented to Bazemore on October 2nd in Atlanta.

Since Rep. Bazemore's election to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2016, she has consistently championed policies that strengthen Georgia's cities. Whether it's advocating for improved local infrastructure, supporting housing development, or ensuring equitable access to vital resources, she has been a tireless advocate for the issues that matter most to Georgia's cities. Her leadership on the Governmental Affairs and Intragovernmental Coordination Committees has helped drive positive change for cities across Georgia - well outside her district.
