He explained that the pandemic brought with it multiple problems. Because more people are at home, online retailers such as Amazon saw a boom in e-commerce shipments.

"We had a perfect storm of supply and demand working against each other. I haven't had so many companies contacting us to subcontract our drivers," he said.

"We've currently consumed 80% of the total H2B visas assigned, but it's been hard to find responsible drivers who meet the established parameters."
