Follow on Google News | 73,725 Former NJ Residents Are Still Registered to Vote in NJBy: Citizens for New Jersey Election Integrity Using this data, first New Jersey registered voters were identified who had moved out of state. Then, working in collaboration with other grassroots election integrity groups, it was determined that 73,725 New Jersey registered voters are also registered to vote in another state. Even more alarming, 14,299 of these individuals are still listed as active voters in New Jersey. The county breakdown is: County Number of Voters Bergen 8,343 Middlesex 7,826 Morris 6,463 Essex 6,309 Burlington 5,211 Monmouth 5,125 Union 4,358 Mercer 4,345 Somerset 4,126 Hudson 3,926 Passaic 3,418 Camden 2,792 Gloucester 2,644 Warren 1,909 Sussex 1,902 Hunterdon 1,732 Atlantic 1,701 Salem 660 Cumberland 637 Cape May 289 Ocean 9 Total 73,725 If Ocean County can keep its voter rolls clean, why can't Bergen County and others follow suit? This disparity raises serious questions about the accuracy and integrity of our voter rolls and leaves open the opportunity for illegal ballots to be cast in New Jersey. The only safeguard against this would be poll challengers using these lists to challenge such voters if they show up at a polling station or return a mail-in ballot. Neither County or State Election Boards has any process for stopping such illegal votes. About Citizens for NJ Election Integrity Citizens for NJ Election Integrity (C4NJEI) and its members believe that the electoral process is the cornerstone of self-governance and our Constitutional Republic. C4NJEI is concerned with the soundness and security of the systems used as part of the electoral process. These systems include voter registration, voter qualification, voter access to polls, systems concerning chain of custody, the programming and use of poll books (electronic or otherwise), the systems used to tabulate ballots, and all other electoral processes, procedures, and systems to ensure that every lawfully registered voter's cast ballot is accurately counted and not diluted by any unlawfully cast ballot. As a non-partisan organization, C4NJEI does not participate in any political campaign, nor does it endorse any candidate for public office.
