A newly revised work of historical fiction makes compelling argument for alcohol justice

ANDERSON, Ind. - Sept. 29, 2024 - PRLog -- During Sober October's global emphasis on rethinking drinking, a newly revised work of historical fiction calls for alcohol justice.

Truth Tellers, is the story of a sober-conscious youth movement that changed world perception on alcohol consumption by exposing the influence of Big Alcohol on higher education, elected officials and the general public.

Beginning on a university campus during the '60s, two unlikely people named Sarah Patrick and Lucas Robertson fall in love and get married. Sarah is a thoughtful social activist. Lucas is a self-indulgent, eat-drink-and-get lucky fraternity member. Pursuing their professional careers through the remaining years of the 20th century, they are asked to lead an international youth organization.

Following the lead of the whistleblowers who exposed the deceit of Big Tobacco regarding nicotine addiction, the Robertsons shine a light on Big Alcohol and the problems it perpetuates. The organization, Working With Youth Around the World, creates a tipping point, and by the mid-21st century public opinion is swayed and a sober, health-conscious culture becomes the new norm.
