By: MGS Designz "I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve as Orange County Commissioner for District 3. We have achieved so much in our community, and we must continue to work and fight to make Central Florida a better place to live, work, feel safe, and raise a family. "Housing and transportation are essential to the economy and prosperity of this county. Our campaign is a hands-on, grassroot campaign. We have maintained an active presence with the community. The 3 pillars of our campaign are: Attainable housing, transportation and economic development. While we must work on legislative issues, we also need to address food insecurities and services to help alleviate issues facing our residents. We need to work on closing the generational poverty gap as well as work within the private sector to offer more mixed use housing. While we have many transportation needs, we need to create a comprehensive accountable and measurable proposal. The current proposal did not pass the BCC because it lacked precise projects and investment to help with infrastructure. My office has raised expectations of what elected officials can accomplish by being responsive and making county administration more accountable. I have devoted my life to making Central Florida a better place to live, work, thrive, and raise a family. I understand the concerns of those who call Central Florida home. My extensive experience in government and the private sector- make me the best candidate for the position." As a dedicated wife, mother, business owner, and first-generation American, born and raised in Orlando, I understand the concerns of those who call Central Florida home. Being part of an all-women Board for the first time in Orange County's history in 2018 has been a groundbreaking experience. This historic representation has brought a fresh perspective and stronger advocacy for our community's needs. With over 17 years of experience, including my duties as Commissioner and a background in federal and state government, I am committed to making our community the best it can be. I want to continue to break barriers and achieve more for our community." VoteUribe.com Click here to read full article - https://empowermentmovementfl.com/ End
