The Orchid Tea Room Partners with Petals Oakley For an Afternoon Tea to Promote Local Autism Programs

BRENTWOOD, Calif. - Aug. 28, 2024 - PRLog -- Writer Jessica Wright writes in the Scientific American that the prevalence of Autism in the United States has risen steadily since researchers first began tracking it in 2000.  The (CDC) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that 1 in 68 children in the United States have Autism. The prevalence is 1 in 42 boys and 1 in 189 girls.

Our goal is to support our local families and groups, helping all who are concerned about the quality of life for those who are affected. Unfortunately, our community lacks sufficient programs, entertainment and activities to enhance the lives of all of our children.  We look forward to develop a network to address the needs of our community.
