Two UCP Charter Schools achieve highest rating for exceptional learning gains

ORLANDO, Fla. - Aug. 8, 2024 - PRLog -- UCP Charter Schools (Unlocking Children's Potential) Charter Schools is proud to announce two of its schools have received the highest possible school rating from the Florida Department of Education.

UCP Pine Hills and UCP Osceola received the grade of "Commendable" – the highest rating a school can receive. The grades recognize outstanding learning gains at both schools in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math and is a testament to the hard work and commitment of students and staff.

These accomplishments are particularly significant for UCP Pine Hills and UCP Osceola, as they are two of UCP's highest need schools. With over 90% of students receiving free or reduced lunch and more than 50% of students having disabilities, these schools have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to academic excellence and inclusion.

In addition to the success of these two schools, the remaining 6 UCP Charter Schools also performed strong, all receiving a "Maintaining" grade. Notably, UCP Downtown/BETA Charter School and UCP Bailes Community Academy both narrowly missed achieving a "Commendable" rating by just two points.
