Scenes of Maine an Annual Exhibition of Paintings

PORTLAND, Maine - Aug. 5, 2024 - PRLog -- Stop in Richard Boyd Art Gallery this October to see an annual exhibition of paintings that take you on a visual excursion through Maine. Selected paintings depict the personal journey of artists as they traversed the magnificent and diverse landscape of Maine which has long been a source of inspiration for artists.

The show is comprised of original works of art depicting scenes from the interior to the islands, coves, and working waterfronts in Maine. Each painting depicts a visceral experience from the calming beauty of a snowy landscape to the intensity of waves breaking on a rocky coast. The exhibit takes viewers on a journey of exploration as seen through the eyes of the artist.

The exhibition features a magnificent selection of original paintings by established and highly regarded fine artists Deena S. Ball - watercolor, Patricia Chandler - oil and cold wax medium, Carrin Culotta - oil, Kevin Daley - oil, Randy Eckard - drybrush watercolor, and Jane Herbert - acrylic.
