San Joaquin Valley College Campus in Lancaster Welcomes New Campus Director

LANCASTER, Calif. - July 15, 2024 - PRLog -- The San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) campus in Lancaster is proud to announce the appointment of Ronald Felts as the new Campus Director. With a distinguished career in education spanning over three decades, Felts brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student success and community engagement.

Felts' vision for the SJVC Lancaster campus includes ensuring that staff have the necessary resources to prepare students for their chosen careers. He plans to support the personal and professional growth of students, staff, and faculty by listening to their needs and making them aware of available resources.

"It is vital that students develop critical thinking skills in their personal and professional lives. I encourage my team to not only come to me with questions, but to come up with answers as well. The best solutions usually come from the individuals most impacted by them," Felts stated, reflecting on his educational philosophy.

Felts believes that SJVC plays a crucial role in the broader Antelope Valley community by providing educational programs that can lead to successful careers. "The Lancaster campus has a positive reputation for providing educational programs that lead to students starting their chosen careers. I plan on continuing to share with the community our mission and opportunities for student success," he added.

The SJVC Lancaster campus offers career-focused programs in Clinical Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technology, Medical Office Administration, Business Office Administration, and Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R). With the leadership of Ronald Felts, the SJVC Lancaster campus is poised to continue its tradition of excellence in education and community service.
