PRLog -- Dr. Vidhya Sivakumaran is the Senior Director of Terminology Data Engineering at IMO. Vidhya joined the company in 2016 as an analyst, and she is now leading and continually evolving a foundational department in the organization that is tasked with multifaceted ownership and application of our terminology data. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Paul's College and a PhD in biochemistry specializing in cardiac membrane biophysics from Virginia Tech, after which she completed a research fellowship in cardiology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. She then served as a research associate in Physiology at Loyola University Chicago. Transitioning from academia to industry, Dr. Sivakumaran began her professional career outside of academia as a terminology analyst. Through dedication and expertise, she has ascended to a leadership role in health informatics and engineering at IMO Health. Her career trajectory showcases her deep commitment to advancing healthcare through innovative informatics solutions.
