Cascade's 2023 Annual Report Highlights Significant Achievements

MADISON, Wis. - June 18, 2024 - PRLog -- Cascade Asset Management (Cascade), a national leader in information technology asset disposition (ITAD) and recycling solutions, recently released its 2023 Annual Report. The publication highlights the company's performance and achievements that have positively impacted clients, employees, and the environment.

Key achievements highlighted in the annual report include:

Business Activity: Cascade collected over 3.7 million pounds of electronics, inventoried over 331,000 assets, wiped more than 21,500 terabytes of data, and refurbished and resold over 147,000 assets in 2023.

Service Reach: Cascade expanded its service reach to client sites in 42 states plus Puerto Rico. Over 87.8% of the equipment (by weight) was collected and managed exclusively by Cascade's Secure Chain of Custody solution, with the remaining items being transported by clients or third parties to our processing facilities in Madison (WI), Indianapolis, and Orlando.

Remarketed Assets: Retail sales of refurbished IT assets grew 7.7% and rebates to clients increased by 15.7% in 2023. Cascade improved recovery returns with its new status as an Amazon Refurbished merchant and through other retail channel sales on Cascade Marketplace and eBay.

Customer Satisfaction: The company achieved a Net Promoter Score of 97 out of 100, far exceeding the industry average of 52. In the company's annual client survey of overall performance, 90.48% of respondents expressed they were "very satisfied" and another 9.52% stated they were "satisfied", resulting in a 100% satisfaction rating.

Environmental Impact: The collective benefit of the electronic equipment reuse and recycling efforts by Cascade and its customers saved over 26,613 tons of carbon emissions. Cascade sourced over 83% of electricity used in operations from renewable energy in 2023.

Continuous Improvement: The report highlights investments in operational efficiencies, resale optimizations, marketing, safety initiatives, training, and information systems infrastructure, including the online reporting portal Cascade Tracker.
