AR Alliance welcomes Oxford Optical Laboratories as a new member

EYNSHAM, U.K. - April 19, 2024 - PRLog -- Oxford Optical Laboratories will be bringing their ophthalmic and optical expertise to the AR Alliance (thearalliance.org).  The AR Alliance enables collaboration among leading players in the augmented reality ecosystem and is accelerating the innovation of breakthrough technologies for building AR wearables and devices though the development of standards, reference designs, and demonstrators.

Oxford Optical Laboratories have experience in both the eyewear and augmented reality markets and is uniquely placed to support AR device manufacturers as they develop products that work for all users, including those that require prescription correction.

The team at Oxford Optical Laboratories, led by Dr Rob Stevens, have a unique skill-set enabling them to support manufacturers of virtual and augmented reality devices as well as more conventional eyewear as they design, make, and measure new products.
