Wine for Whiskey Drinkers That's Blowing MindsFrench-oak infused Evergood Gold mimics a sweet bourbon, finishes without the burn since it's 10% ABV lemon wine.
Tasters describe Evergood Gold as a light and delicious wine with an oaky or smokey taste plus a sweet bourbon finish. At 10% alcohol by volume (ABV), it's very drinkable without a burn. Years in development, this limited release wine is unique to the market today. "Into our lemon wine base, we soaked french oak bourbon-infused wood cubes, cut from staves, for five months," says vintner and founder, Matthew Hexter. "Many, many tasters have told me it's our best creation yet." And the amazing part? Unlike grained whiskeys, the finish doesn't hurt because Evergood Gold is a true wine at only 10% ABV. Hexter continues, "But watch out! It goes down so smooth that you might be tempted to drink the entire bottle in one sitting. Remember, it's still 10% ABV." The Evergood Gold release party is Saturday, April 13 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m at the winery in Palmer Lake. Tickets are $5 and sales benefit Evergood's long-time partner, Tri-Lakes Cares. The release party includes live music, Ricky's Island Café food truck, event-only pricing on all of Evergood's wines and a chance to win ski simulator packages at Lemon Lodge Ski Bar, Evergood's exclusive tasting room. Because it's a limited release, Evergood Gold will only be sold at the winery – no distribution to liquor stores. When it's gone, it's gone! Tickets are available at https://evergoodadventurewines.ticketspice.com/ Evergood Gold joins Evergood's six other refreshing wines made from lemons, not grapes: Heart Warmer, Skier Pee, Snow Bunny, Switch Stance, Citrus Stomp and Jolly Camper. Each is gluten-free, vegan, low sulfite and low in sugars.
