ATLANTA - March 21, 2024 - PRLog -- In celebration of Women's History Month, the Thompson Atlanta Hotel proudly acknowledges LaToya Dwight and her non-profit organization, Pad the Pandemic, for their exceptional dedication to community service. Dwight will be honored at the 'It's Givin' Brunch' on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

Pad the Pandemic was founded by LaToya Dwight, who serves as its Founder and Chief Motivating Officer, following a life-altering experience with uterine fibroids. Shockingly, statistics reveal that approximately 70% of individuals with a uterus will develop uterine fibroids, with a staggering 80% of this population being Black. Pad the Pandemic, a subsidiary of LaToya's larger organization, The Fibroid Pandemic, passionately works towards eradicating period poverty and unnecessary hysterectomies for individuals with a uterus globally, providing education, resources, support, and access to clean, non-toxic sanitary products.

"I am profoundly grateful to receive this esteemed recognition from the Thompson Atlanta Hotel during Women's History Month. This acknowledgment further fuels our commitment to continue striving towards making a tangible difference in the lives of women and families in our community and beyond," expressed LaToya Dwight, Founder of Pad the Pandemic. "Together, we can surmount any challenge and illuminate a brighter path for all individuals with a uterus."

The 'It's Givin' Brunch' will take place at the renowned Dirty Rascal restaurant, nestled within the Thompson Atlanta Hotel from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. As part of the celebration, 10% of all sales at Dirty Rascal during the event will be generously donated to Pad the Pandemic to further bolster their impactful mission.

Media and guests are welcome to enjoy this momentous occasion at the Thompson Atlanta Hotel located at 415 East Paces Ferry Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305.
