Retta West Christian has a BA degree in English Literature and has always dreamed of writing for children. She currently lives in Abingdon, Virginia with her husband. She feels her greatest accomplishment in life has been raising her daughter, and loves watching her daughter as she raises three fine gentlemen. Spending quiet time with her family is her happy place. She is currently working on her first novel, Butterfly Man, to be released in the spring of 2024.

In The Mitchellgoshes: Party in the Wishing Well, the Mitchellgoshes are getting ready for their biggest adventure yet, and their sweet friend, the pink pig, is back with new friends of her own. Book 2 of West's series sees the Mitchellgoshes attend a wedding that affects their entire town in a big way.
