Anderson Campaign: Will WI Broadcasters continue to stifle speech?

MIDDLETON, Wis. - Jan. 10, 2024 - PRLog -- Phil Anderson, Libertarian candidate for the United States Senate in Wisconsin, has initiated an online petition drive to encourage the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association (WBA) to reconsider their debate criteria for the late 2024 Senate debates leading up to the November election. WBA will make it's decision on Wednesday, January 17th.

In a commitment to open and fair democratic practices, Anderson seeks to ensure that all candidates who qualify to be on the ballot for voters in Wisconsin are given the opportunity to participate in the WBA debates. This move would provide voters with a broader spectrum of voices and perspectives, ultimately strengthening the democratic process.

Signatures collected will be presented to the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association prior to their January 2024 board meeting.
