PRLog -- According to AHAR, in 2023 2,784 families suffered from homelessness in Georgia. With shelters only providing 90 days of housing this has left many mothers and soon-to-be mothers, hopeless to support their children. Rosie's Angels is a non-profit organization created to provide shelter and resources to mothers in need. It is urging members of the community to donate so mothers can focus primarily on nurturing their children.
"Rosie's Angel is all about love. We want to be there for these families before, during, and after the pregnancy. We don't want to impose a time limit for how long these mothers can stay in our shelters. We want to be with them every step of the way and help them achieve greatness. We want to be the support system they never had." said Rose Mitchell, the founder of Rosie's Angels.
Rose personally experienced homelessness as a pregnant youth where she was left to prioritize the well-being of her baby without stable housing. The harsh situations she experienced inspired her to provide services to mothers desperate for help. Her goal is to be able to serve several families that graduate from the program and can independently sustain themselves.
All donations will help fund homes for families, meals, clothing, baby products and classes on various topics such as parenting. All donations can be accepted through her website, Fundraiser by Rose Mitchell: Maternity Home for Moms in Need (gofundme.com)
(
